MKT future looks bright

Despite some shaky events including the granting of only a formal three year extension by the Government to the existing permission to allow the Top End Flying Club to operate at MKT Airfield (which is not under threat as it is an authorised landing area in the formal and traditional definition of the term) we are still going from strength to strength.

Mick provided the members with an update on the existing hangars. In going through his own process of certification, Mick had the opportunity to update the Department of Infrastructure and Planning on the status of the structures at MKT.
 

MKT Airfield Infrastructure and future plans
There was discussion in relation to the future of MKT vis a vis an airpark and also the requirement for the club to write a supporting submission.
