As a result of requests from industry, CASA presents your "Flying in the Wet Season information session".

When/Where; Tuesday the 13th of October 2009, 6pm at the Darwin Airport Resort.

Food and refreshments supplied, bar service is available and there will be some giveaways on the night (i.e. iPods, Resort Accommodation voucher).

Your presenter has many wet seasons of experience in VFR/IFR operations and is very keen to impart his experiences to you.

An Air Traffic Controller will be speaking about the service that the RAAF ATC provide and the assistance that they can offer if you find yourself compromised by weather.

The Darwin Bureau of Meteorology will have a representative present.

We are about to enter a challenging period of the year for all that live in the Top End, especially for those that fly.

If you are going to be flying in the tropics this wet season, I urge you to attend and bring your fellow pilots with you.

Please see the attachment or call/email me for more information.

All welcome.
