When nice things happen to you that you don’t expect, it leaves you with a feeling of happiness that seems to extend beyond you or the person or event that caused the happiness.

This story is about a lady called Mary who did something for Joe on the last day of our holiday in New Zealand. We had already had a happy event on the day we arrived in Christchurch when something we left behind as we passed through customs was returned to us.

Most of the folks who read this will know that we have recently been to the south island of New Zealand. I have created a little online picture book with links to albums. Joe kept a journal of the trip that we will get him to write up in this blog. I haven't uploaded all the photographs of aircraft from the airshow as of this posting but they will make their appearance by the end of today.

We had a great trip away and hopefully added a little to Joe's life experience. Helen and I certainly enjoyed it and learnt a lot.
