This is another movie, or rather slideshow of some of the places located in Freeport, West Papua. They range from the highlands where the mine is located down to the lowlands where Timika is. For those still working there, this was shot during 2003 - 2004. For those who have left, this is a trip down memory lane.

I am writing this from a wifi hotspot in McDonalds in the heart of Sydney (George St I think) There is a man sitting next to me drinking his coffee - as I am doing. He is writing copious notes on a McDonald's napkin - notthing odd there. He has a large coat on which given that it is unusually warm is a bit strange. What is a bit stranger is that he is periodically having a meaningful discussion with an imaginary friend in a foreign language. Nothing emotional, just a long conversation with an imaginary friend.
