We live in a two storey house with an internal staircase. We don't live in Little Whinging but as of last weekend we now have a cupboard under the stairs, complete with bed, study table, lights and I suspect wireless internet connectivity. We haven't quite finished teh walls yet, but our plan is to conduct news broadcasts by Joe from there.

The door to the cupboard under the stairs was made from pine covered in corflute (the stuff they use to put politicians faces on when they are campaigning. After constructing the frame, stapling the corflute to the frame, going back to Bunnings for the third time to get metal screws I realised that it probably would have been cheaper to buy a real door.

Anyway, unlike Harry Potter's cupboard under the stairs, Joe's is a place of fun and learning... and he is allowed to practise magic as long as he has completed his other homework first. For those who need to update Joe's address details, they are
